It appears that turmoil rules the world stage. It also appears that the truly evil misdirect the eyes of the world’s populations to provide cover for their insidious activities. What is a believer’s role in stopping this outrageous activity perpetrated against the young and defenseless? At this point one might ask, “What are you talking about?”

Great question. I have been aware of the increases in child trafficking for a while now, but there hasn’t been direct proof positive to this evil until now. While Epstein Island was a hotbed for the abuse of underage girls. It’s believed that Jeffrey Epstein used recordings of elite clients activities for bribery. Only one person, Ghislaine Maxwell, was charged and convicted for enticing underage girls to perform sex acts with the world’s powerful people. While I haven’t had an opportunity to see the movie, “Sound of Freedom,” yet; I have watched enough interviews, including Tim Ballard who was the actual rescuer, the producers, and the actors to understand the relevance and importance of this work. It will hopefully contribute directly to the arrest and convictions of many people who have been perpetrating heinous crimes against children.

As evil as the human trafficking is, those who could report about it turn a blind eye or deaf ear toward it. The individuals and companies that refuse to address that evil are no better. I remember hearing back when President Nixon was heading towards an impeachment that, “the cover up was worse than the crime.” The journalists and media celebrities now need to “sleep in the beds of their own making” for the deception and lies they use to hide the evil being done. It needs to be pointed out to them that God is not amused and that there are eternal consequences for it. Jesus Christ is very specific about the consequences. In (NASB) Matthew 18:4-6 Jesus states, “So whoever will humble himself like this child, he is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. ⁵ And whoever receives one such child in My name, receives Me; ⁶ but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it is better for him that a heavy millstone be hung around his neck, and that he be drowned in the depths of the sea.” One can only imagine what it will be like for the abusers and those who protect them.

However, the human traffickers have companions. These folks are also being implicitly protected by the media and many politicians as well. I am here talking about the LBGTQ crowd. The most disgusting element of this group is the parents of young children who are giving hormone therapy and sex change operations to their own children. Not far behind these evil people are the educators of the youth in this country. One has difficulty believing these teachers are so deluded as to think that they should keep the news of a child’s “self-identification” away from the parents. However, once one understands that it is the teachers themselves that are foisting those gender confusing lies upon the kids in their classrooms, that their motive becomes clear. It is also clear that, first and foremost, those individuals have rejected the Bible as authoritative. I’m thinking that millstone may be busy.

One can go back to the beginning in Genesis 1 and read of the wonderful works of God paying particular attention to Genesis 1:27, “So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.” If one then goes to the first chapter of Romans it explains what in the world is going on. Romans 1: 22 says it clearly, “Claiming to be wise, they became fools.”

Non-believers can’t even keep their interpretation of the facts straight. They constantly have to return to the tenets of their secular humanism and successively re-write them. They offer no defense for their rejection of logic and hence reality. I recently expressed this outright dichotomy of positions within the LGBTQ crowd and their adherents themselves. I noted that individuals who proclaim that they are lesbian or gay say that they were born that way. The transgender group and their supporters now say that they were born the wrong way. Logic tells us it can’t be both. There are two inconsistent elements at play here. The first is a simple denial of objective reality. One is born either male or female and wishing or surgery won’t change that. The other has a long history. It begins with Existentialism, moves on to Modernism, and culminates with Post-Modernism. The newest postmodern equivocation rests on the statement, “What is true for me.” You see postmodernists believe they create their own reality. Today it  appears that the world has gone insane, not resembling the world of only four years ago .

However, we are not without hope. There is objective Truth, even though the deniers refuse to listen to it. The author Arthur Holmes has a book title that says it well, “All Truth is God’s Truth.” The only way man can even see what is true is because God has told us what the truth is. Without God all there would be is the blind leading the blind. The scriptures even speaks to this in Matthew 15: 14 “Leave them alone; they are blind guides of blind people. And if a person who is blind guides another who is blind, both will fall into a pit.” This world is providing many examples of this absolute blindness. I haven’t seen enough to proclaim that God has sent the deluding influence as promised for the end times. But I have seen enough to say that what is going on today surely illustrates what is coming as we near the end.

Christians need to be vocal. Christians need to proclaim the Truth. Christians need to understand that when they leave their homes in the morning they are entering the mission field. God has not said we no longer need to follow the Great Commission’s directive. We need to do as instructed. We are to be Ambassadors of Christ as stated in II Corinthians 5: 20, 21 “²⁰ Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. ²¹ He made Him who knew no sin to be sin in our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”

The time may be short. Soon may be now. We need to understand the urgency of this day and time. Tomorrow may be too late just as Proverbs 27: 1 says, “Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring.” What we believers know to be True, is that Jesus Christ will return.
